STEVEN SIMONFAY JR., OWNER

Steve has lived, attended local schools and worked in the Chatham area for over 27 years. His work in the area started out as a local paper boy in the 5th grade. By the time he finished the 8th grade, the early development of Simonfay Landscape Services Inc. had already begun. During his high school years in the mid 1980s, Steve and his parents built its foundation in the lawn maintenance industry. He often worked 5-6 hours after school and 12-13 hours during the weekend. Following high school, he continued his education at Rutgers University where he continued to focus much of his time developing and shaping Simonfay Landscape Services Inc.

Following graduation in 1992, Steve focused all his energy exclusively to his landscape business. With his hard work and persistence, help from a professional, dedicated staff and a supportive family, Steve built the company that it is today.... one of the area's premier landscape companies.

Steve oversees daily construction and maintenance crews and is involved in every aspect of his business in order to maintain personal, involved relationships with his clients.

Few things bring Steve greater joy and satisfaction than helping his clients to realize their landscape dreams. He strives to provide his customers with dedicated, quality service they deserve.

CHRIS CZECH, LANDSCAPE  DESIGNER

Chris has been with Simonfay Landscaping Services Inc. for over three years working as a lead landscape designer.

Chris' background is in Horticulture. She has a MA in Urban & Regional Planning and a BA in Environmental Studies.

To each and every project, Chris brings abundant creativity and attention to detail.To each and every client, she offers unique plans and personalized service and creative ideas to suit their needs and budget. By applying sound design principles, she transforms their gardens into a source of enjoyment and pride.

Chris's ultimate goal is to create gardens that will leave a lasting
impressions while captivating the style and personality of her clients.

Chris lives in Maplewood, New Jersey with her husband Grover, two daughters, Julia and Ginevra and pets: dogs Patches, cats Jack, Lucky and Pepe.

She teaches a landscape design course at the South Orange Maplewood
Adult school, chairs the gardening committee for Columbia High School
and is active in local clubs and church groups.
