Here, we hope
to answer some of the most frequently asked questions
throughout the season(s).
When do Spring Cleanups begin?
Depending upon the weather, spring clean-ups usually begin mid March
and
continue through the 3rd week of April.
When will my first lawn fertilization
treatment be performed?
Your first application will be applied following your spring clean-up.

Water as soon as possible (within 2 days). The sooner you apply
water the faster the fertilizer will be activated.

after the first lawn application?
Our first lawn application is granular. There is still enough moisture in the
ground at this time.
How often should I water new seed?
2x a day - a.m. and p.m. for 10 min. for first 2 weeks - once seed emerges -
normal watering schedule.

In the spring and in the fall
Can I seed once a pre-emergent is applied?
Yes, but a 1" layer of top soil must be put down first.
How important is a soil test and how often should I have one done?
We recommend you have a soil test done every three years. It specifies your
soil requirements which is very important for the optimum health of your lawn
When is the best time to transplant?
The best time to do any transplanting is in the early spring before budding of
your flowering plants or evergreens takes place.

Grubs are very damaging white worm-like larvae that eat the root of the plant.
They start to feed heavily in June or July then will re-emerge again in September

This application should protect your lawn the entire season.
When is the best time to have my pruning done?
We do most of the ornamental tree and shrub pruning in the summer months
once flowering is complete.
